Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze for the balance beam. She was the first American to be awarded many Olympic medals. She took gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics, which was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Additionally, she won silver for individual all-around and floor exercises. Three years have passed when she last participated in gymnastics competitions. In addition, she was a member two world championship gold winning teams. The gymnastics lessons she began in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who died due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. She hopes to pursue the expansion of her signature collection of leotards. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
